When tattooed at Shaws its a single service usage. Single service usage, meaning everything that is used is sterilized. Nothing is put together until you are being serviced, everything comes out of a sterile bag, which is numbered & dated. Pigment (color) is poured in individual capsules & thrown away - Tattoo needles are thrown away in a biohazard container along with gloves-towels-kleenex, everything used to do the tattoo.
